I have loved Art from as far back as i can remember , my mother used to say ' i never played with toys, i would just paint and draw.'

 

I left Portchester Secondary School with one '0' Level in Art in 1981 but went on to study A Level Art & Graphics at Fareham Technical College.

 While raising a young Family I took another A Level Art & Ceramics at Ashcroft Art Center .

 

I returned to work when my children started school as a Teaching Assistant at Highbury College Cosham enabling Adults with both physical and  Emotional challenges .

After passing my Certificate of Education I went on to Manage, teach and create courses forlearners who suffer with Mental Health difficulties both on College Campus but also in the wider Portsmouth Community working closely with families, centers and St James's Hospital , Milton.

After much of the funding was cut from these facilities I taught Art  at Boundary Oak School Wickham but left to look after my Mother who passed away in 2016 .

 

For the past six years i have studied part time at Chichester University and have gained a BA Hons in Painting & Drawing
